American Water Works Association

Brief:

Production designer for The American Water Works Association (AWWA) a international, nonprofit, scientific and educational society dedicated to providing total water solutions assuring the effective management of water. Founded in 1881, the Association is the largest organization of water supply professionals in the world. 

Deliverables:

• Production design for monthly magazine (print and digital)
• Infographic design and photo editing 
• Interfacing with print vendor and cross-team correspondence

Summary:

AWWA was transitioning from an in-house layout artist to a fully automated system with an external publishing company. I resumed the responsibilities of the departing designer throughout the transition. With minimal training, I seamlessly produced three volumes of the Opflow publication, and helped with the transition. I also assisted the creative department with internal and external facing advertisements; and recreated infographics that were supplied by engineers and scientists to create print ready files for AWWA's Journal publication.
